In 1983 a New Zealand missionary couple, Kevin and Helen Honore, observed a great need for teaching among leaders of the Brethren churches in Zambia. The Lord led him, together with others, to have a place where some leaders could come together for training.

So, my son, throw yourself into this work for Christ. Pass on what you heard from me—the whole congregation saying Amen!— to reliable leaders who are competent to teach others.
